Andie loves writing and is a published poet. She likes music, especially rock, and plays flute in her school’s band. In her free time, Andie enjoys playing soccer, hiking, drawing, photography and learning new languages. Andie’s family rescues and fosters stray and abused dogs and cats. She currently has one dog named Daisy and six cats: Whiskers, Cyrano, Butters, Olive, Ink and Banshee. Andie participated in the 2009 Scripps National Spelling Bee.
