Jared loves looking at maps, learning about different countries and playing the National Geographic Geo-Bee on the Internet with his father. He is a member of his church choir, along with his mother and father, and a member of his school band, where he plays the piano and alto saxophone. Last fall he ran cross-country for his school and in the summer he enjoys swimming and playing tennis. Jared participates in Cub Scouts and received the Arrow of Light badge last year. He is the fourth of six children in his family and enjoys spending time with them in his free time.
