Joseph enjoys discovering, composing and listening to music and is a member of his school’s jazz band and orchestra. He received outstanding achievement honors in English and language arts and was an award nominee in the Slick Rock Student Film Festival for a multimedia class public service announcement. Joseph is a member of his school’s math club and Science Olympiad team. In his free time, Joseph likes to read graphic novels and play chess, golf, and video games. Joseph participated in the 2009 Scripps National Spelling Bee.
