At school, Matthew is a member of academic competition teams, and he plays basketball and runs track. Matthew plays trumpet and is also learning to play bass guitar. In his spare time, Matthew loves to read, learn magic tricks and play video games. In February Matthew was a page for Republican representative Rich Proehl at the Kansas House of Representatives. Matthew is involved in many activities at his church, where he is a student leader in the youth group. Matthew’s role model is Tim Tebow.
