Devora loves to read, write and spell. She also enjoys word games and she likes to run, swim, hike and bake. Earlier this month Devora and her classmates participated in the Hebrew division of the National Bible Contest. She continues to reread the Harry Potter series of books, and she read the first book in Hebrew. Devora’s favorite book is Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life by Wendy Mass. She would like to travel the world, and have a career as an author or journalist. Devora is well on her way to achieving this goal—she and two friends started an alternative school newspaper last year.
