Profile:
Julia plays flute, piano and electric guitar. This fall she will join the marching band. Julia holds an advanced brown belt in karate, and is currently working toward her black belt. She also loves acting and has been in several plays, including Treasure Island and her school’s Christmas production. Julia enjoys writing short stories in her spare time, and she writes for the seventh and eighth grade newspaper. She is also a certified scuba diver. Julia participated in the 2009 Scripps National Spelling Bee.
