Franchesca enjoys traveling and frequently visits her family in Peru. Her hobbies include swimming, playing volleyball, and cooking. Her favorite subject in school is math. Franchesca is a member of the National Junior Honor Society and serves on the yearbook staff at her school. She hopes to pursue a career in astrophysics. Franchesca's brother, Jose, participated in the 2003 national finals.
