Rosa delights in reading and music. She is first-chair flute in her school's band, and she plays piano. Her musical activities also extend to singing in the choir in both her church and her school. She enjoys reading fantasy, especially the Artemis Fowl and the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Her current favorite books are The Hunger Games and The Host. Rosa also plays basketball and runs track for her school. She plans for a career in math or science.
