Thomas is involved in a plethora of extracurricular activities. He is a member of his school's band, Junior Key Club, guitar club, yearbook committee, and track team. This four-time recipient of his school's citizenship award also enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, and canoeing. Thomas's favorite video games are Guitar Hero and Rock Band. He enjoys writing short fiction and is also working on a novel. Thomas participated in the 2006 and 2007 national finals.
