Morgan is very musical: She plays flute, is in her ninth year of practicing piano, and sings in her school's choir. When singing for fun, Morgan prefers the songs of Carrie Underwood and Martina McBride. This is Morgan’s ninth year as a Girl Scout. She is currently working on earning her Silver Award, the second-highest award that a Girl Scout can earn. In school she delights in language arts and is considering a career as a teacher. Morgan participated in the 2008 national finals.
