David recently received his second consecutive state-level 4-H Excellence Award. His favorite 4-H activities include arts and crafts, archery, and working with electricity. David is also an award-winning woodworker who has exhibited his projects at local and state fairs. He excels in geography and recently participated in the Missouri Geographic Bee. His sister Caitlin participated in the 2005 and 2007 national finals, and David participated in the 2008 national finals.
