Profile:

Lukas had studied percussion for five years and currently plays in his school's symphonic and jazz bands. He excels in all his classes at school but particularly enjoys video and animation art. Lukas has three pets: two cockatiels and a Goldendoodle. He enjoys soccer, downhill-skiing, water-skiing, cross-country, and track. He feels fortunate that his speller number is an even number, for in past competitions he has been a better speller when his number has been even. Bee Week 2009 is Lukas's first visit to our nation's capital.
